BRESS WINES

Adam Marks (MHS 1982-1985) and his wife Lynne own Bress. Bress wines were first made in 2001 and in 2005 the Harcourt property was acquired as a home for Bress.

Adam is a qualified viticulturalist and winemaker having studied at Charles Sturt University. With almost 20 years experience he has made wine throughout the world for both large and small producers. Disillusioned with large corporate winemaking, Adam's desire is to produce wines sourced from notable viticultural regions and using a minimal intervention approach in the winery.

Adam provided a memorable "Live Like a Winemaker for a Day" earlier this year to a group from MHSOBA at the Harcourt winery.

The dertailed special menu and accompanying wines are shown below.

The all inclusive cost for this Winemakers' Dinner is just $85 for MHSOBA members and $90 for non-members and guests.

As places are again somewhat limited people should book their places early for this final dinner for 2009. Bookings are now open online.

September Luncheon: Mr Jon Faine (MHS 1974)
7 September 2010

In June 2008 ABC Radio host Jon Faine and his son, Jack, left their jobs, studies, family and friends, took six months and fulfilled a long-held dream to drive overland from Melbourne to London. From Here to There is their intelligent and funny account of a father and son odyssey: 39,321 kilometres in their 4x4 across twenty countries, including some of the least-visited places on Earth.

Bookings are now very tight and will close at 10.00am Friday 3rd September.
