Dentistry - the experience so far I graduated from MHS in 2007 and I am currently studying Dentistry at LaTrobe University. I am a proud Como-dian and was involved with Chorales during my time at MHS. I’ve always had a passion for the Health Sciences field – whether from my own aspiration or from my brain-washing parents, I do not know. Nevertheless, my established interest for Health Sciences was reaffirmed by my affinity for sciences during VCE. I am thoroughly enjoying my course. My talk will be split into three sections each about 7-10minutes with time for question and answers. A bit about myself and why I chose Dentistry. The transition between secondary and tertiary education, what Dentistry involves and a rough outline of what the course involves. The academic requirements, alternative paths of entry and career opportunity upon graduation. Like any other course or career field, it ultimately comes down to your own interest. If you are genuinely passionate for a particular course, you will do very well.
