Guest Speaker - Beryl Gregory OAM

Beryl Gregory OAM (nee Hargreaves) was born in Bendigo and educated at Girton Church of England Grammar School. She then went on to the University of Melbourne where she did a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Beryl worked as an economist for several years and then went on to complete her Dip Ed and taught Economics, Mathematics and Legal Studies.

In 1996 she was appointed Headmistress of Christ Church Grammar School and she held this appointment until she retired in December 2010. She is currently a member of the Melbourne Grammar School council. In 2004 she was awarded the medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for services to education and the community.

Dr Janet Prideaux, the Assistant Principal (Curriculum) at MHS will also be in attendance at the luncheon and she will bring people up-to-date with all happenings at the school.
